The 11th annual Presbyterian Craft Sale and Bake Sale will return on Saturday, Oct. 12 and Oct. 19, in the Fellowship Hall of First Presbyterian Church.
Come up the ramp to the fellowship hall from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. both Saturdays. First Presbyterian Church is at the corner of Walnut and Main Streets, in Waynesville.
Everything for sale in the event has been hand made. View and buy beautiful decorations, jewelry made from computer parts, Christmas Ornaments, hand knitted scarves, toboggans and washing clothes, jams, wooden trivets, brownies, pies, paintings and more.
The bake sale includes homemade goodies, from jellies to brownies.
There is no admission charged; parking onsite parking on site is available for $5 all day.
This sale supports local missions and charitable giving, such as support for REACH and the heating program of Mountain Projects.
Proceeds from the craft and bake sale and parking are donated to Haywood County non-profit organizations to help meet the needs of the community. To help one family for only one month at the Pathways Center shelter costs $2,400. Therefore, there are many places to give the proceeds of the sale.
During the past decade, the Presbyterian Craft Guild has given thousands of dollars to numerous organizations across the county. Call 828-550-3118.
