WAYNESVILLE — Experience the life and music of Cole Porter from the unconventional lens of his wife’s perspective in the play Love, Linda, is heading into its final weekend at Haywood Arts Regional Theatre in Waynesville.
Love, Linda recounts the life story of Linda Lee Thomas, the Southern Belle who was the driving force behind the career of her legendary composer husband, Cole Porter. Amazing compositions weave the music of Cole Porter into a compelling, glamorous and complex story. With the incredibly talented Karen Yow portraying Linda Porter, you will be tapping your toes to this unforgettable tale.
Love, Linda will be performed in The Fangmeyer Theater with seating limited to 60, in pods of one to four people separated by six feet. Masks are required at all times.
Show times for the two-week run are 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 22-Saturday, April 25, and April 29-May 1, plus a 3 p.m. show Sunday April 25 and May 2. Tickets are $20.
