FRANKLIN — Driven by heartfelt lyrics and soul-tingling melodies the California born, Nashville based artist, Ashley Hess will be on stage at Smoky Mountain Center for Performing Arts at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, May 8.

Hess is widely known as a finalist on season two of American Idol in 2019, where Katy Perry deemed her a "bonafide star" and Luke Bryan praised her for "world-class" and "iconic" talent.

“There is no better feeling than going through the process of creating a song, performing that song, and having people connect with the song that I created. Those are the moments I live for. Getting out there, playing my music and establishing a connection,” Hess said.

Hess got her start on YouTube doing covers of popular songs, bringing in fans worldwide. She intertwines Pop with R&B, backed by an emotional connection that produces an astonishingly powerful performance.
