ASHEVILLE — A celebration of beautiful movement will be unleashed by The Asheville Ballet with “Spring Into Dance: An Artistic Bouquet” at 7 p.m. April 30 and May 1, at The Hazel Robinson Amphitheatre.
The hour-long production of classical and modern dance will feature all original choreography.
“It’s a perfect opportunity to encounter professional classical and contemporary dance in a wonderful collection of artistic visions, from funny to powerful, in a real theatrical experience,” said director Ann Dunn.
Tickets are limited to 130 per night, and can be purchased in grouped pods of either two or three. You select your pod location when buying tickets, so for larger parties, simply purchase tickets in two adjacent pods to combine seating. Bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit on.
Asheville Ballet is North Carolina’s oldest non-profit ballet company.
“Asheville is fortunate to have a resident ballet company of this caliber. Seasoned dance fans and novices alike have the opportunity to watch consummate professionals perform a wide variety of roles, from classical to contemporary,” said Dunn.
