WAYNESVILLE — Back by popular demand, the production of "Say Goodnight, Gracie" at Haywood Arts Regional Theater will return for another two weekends, May 7-9 and May 14-16.
“Say Goodnight, Gracie” is an evening with one of the entertainment industry’s most celebrated figures, George Burns, who lived to 100 years old and was a major star until he died.
The show offers an unforgettable tour through a century of entertainment. Audiences will be transported with treasured video clips, audio and pictures from the life of these comic icons. The one-man show stars Pasquale LaCorte as George Burns.
HART has painstakingly re-invented its procedures to ensure COVID safety. The production is being staged in HART’s Fangmeyer Theater, which features flexible seating arrangements throughout the flat floor as opposed to a traditional fixed-seating auditorium.
The audience will be arranged in pods spaced six feet apart. Patrons will be asked to wear masks unless they are eating or drinking items from the concession area.
The show has performances at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, May 7-8 and May 14-15, with 2 p.m. shows on Sunday, May 9 and 16.
All seats are $20. Buy tickets online at www.harttheatre.org or call box office at 828-456-6322 and leave your name, phone number, the number of tickets you would like held and the performance date.
