ASHEVILLE — Highland Brewing’s Meadow, an outdoor venue for kicking back with a beer and friends, re-opens Friday, April 30, with a weekend of live music, fun in the sun, and a local artisan market.

Here’s the weekend lineup:

• Friday, April 30: The Get Right Band will grace the Meadow stage from 6-8 p.m.

• Saturday, May 1: “May Day” marks the opening of volleyball reservations at Highland. The Meadow features three, professional-grade sand courts. Play is $15 an hour on Wednesday and Friday from 4-9 p.m. for players 21+, and Saturday and Sunday from noon-6 p.m. for family-friendly play. To reserve a court time, click here.)

• Sunday, May 2: Meadow Market Sundays from noon-5 p.m. feature a selection of local bakers, makers, and artisans. There will also be live music from 3-5 p.m. by a rotating selection of local performers. This Sunday features reggae by Chalwa.

To help with social distancing, hoops mark off spaces for each party to gather. Table space is limited, but folks can bring their own blankets and chairs to set up within the socially-distanced hoops on the grass.
