Celebrate 15th annual Christmas Worship in a Stable Dec. 7

The community is invited to worship and celebrate, in a unique way, at the 15th Annual Christmas Worship in a Stable from 5:30 – 6:15 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 7, at the 3rd Generation Barn Loft Farm, just outside of Canton.

Inside the historic barn, enjoy singing carols during listening to the Biblical narrative of Jesus’ birth; sitting on hay bales or chairs; special music and lighting that give a feeling of awe and peace; a small cast, with not only a donkey but her foal as well; and a storyteller.

Attendees have raved about the event. One family member attending last year said they just loved this experience and can’t wait to come back this year. Another spoke of her middle-school age son, who has always known about the real meaning of Christmas, but found that participating in the barn event made it all come together for him in a new way.

Admission is free, but attendees are welcome to bring a non-perishable food item, one per person, to place at the manger during the reading and the carol singing about the wise men. The food will be donated to The Community Kitchen in Canton.

Attendees are advised to dress warmly and casually. The event is handicap accessible. Guided parking opens at 4:15 p.m.
