Sarge’s pup Clark in his lion costume for Sarge’s Halloween Facebook Live parade

DOGS HAVING FUN — Sarge’s pup Clark is dressed in his lion costume for Sarge’s Halloween celebration. Tune into the Facebook Live parade of Sarge’s costumed dogs at 10 a.m. Oct. 31. After the parade, Sarge’s volunteers and dogs will enjoy the dog obstacle course that was so much fun during Dog Walk Week.

Everyone loves a parade and Sarge’s Animal Rescue Foundation will present a fun-filled parade of adoptable dogs — in costumes — at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 31, on Facebook Live.

Those who watched Sarge’s Facebook Live parade of adoptable animals during the August Dog Walk Week know how much fun the dogs and volunteers had during the event.

The fun will double for Halloween, with costumed dogs in Sarge’s Facebook Live parade Oct. 31.

“The dogs and volunteers had such fun during Sarge’s virtual Dog Walk Week activities, we decided to have another Sarge’s dog parade and mini obstacle course — this time for Halloween,” said Melinda Smith, Sarge’s volunteer coordinator.

It’s guaranteed to be a great time for all involved.

In addition, Sarge’s will be having its annual online costume contest, where Facebook friends can post pictures of their pets in costume in the comments. The photos with the most emoticons will win prizes.

Sarge’s Animal Rescue Foundation is at 256 Industrial Park Dr., Waynesville. Visit www.sargeanimals.org, ‘Like’ Sarge’s Facebook page or call 828-246-9050.
