LUCK OF THE ART- Haywood County Arts Council is sponsoring a walk through Main Street for “ Winter Smokies Art Style- The Luck of the Art” where people will look at local galleries and merchants.

Experience “Winter Arts Smokies Style” in downtown Waynesville

Haywood County Arts Council is hosting a Winter Arts Smokies Style — “The Luck of the Art” from noon until 4 p.m. March 14 on Main St., Waynesville.

Main Street galleries, merchants, and restaurants are hosting an afternoon of lucky specials, wee Irish treats, captivating artist demonstrations, and lively music in historic downtown Waynesville.

Collect a gold coin necklace or a green shamrock necklace. Visit with roving Leprechauns who will be mingling through downtown Waynesville.

At Twigs and Leaves Galleryy, June Rollins will be offering a demonstration of her Alcohol Inks “Dreamscapes”, and there will be piano and guitar entertainment by Tobias McGregor, Nash Gates fly tying demonstration/sale, and St. Patrick’s Day treats.

Pick up a list of participating businesses, visit each one and enter to win their “Pot of Gold.” Look for the flags and balloons.

Purchase tickets to enter to win the Rainbow’s End Pot of Gold--a cash prize of up to $500 at participating galleries.

Twigs and Leaves Gallery will be accepting donations of art supplies, throughout the month of March, benefiting Haywood County Public Schools.

Waynesville is just a short drive from Asheville, and has great restaurants, shops, and art galleries. Come spend Saturday, March 14 with us. Follow the rainbow, find your pot of gold!
