Fall into a story: storytelling at library

Take a break from the hustle and bustle of the world around and come to the Canton branch library at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 29, for tales by storyteller Elena Miller.

Bring a blanket or lawn chair and relax in the open area in the Giving Garden and listen to Miller weave her tales. She’s a member of the Asheville Storytelling Circle and the North Carolina Storytelling Guild.

Some stories may be scary (but not too scary).

This programming is suitable for all ages and families are encouraged to attend. In the event of inclement weather, the telling will move inside to the auditorium. For information, call 828-648-2924.

The Canton branch library is at 11 Pennsylvania Ave., Canton.
