The Waynesville First United Methodist Church will be holding its annual Trunk or Treat event from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 31.

Cars will be lined up on Academy Street with trunks full of goodies. Trunk or Treat and Main Street’s “Treats on the Street” are both held from 5-7 p.m. Church leaders invite families to come out and enjoy both with their children. To help make the event successful, church or community members are invited to drop off pre-wrapped, unopened bags of candy in the front office or in the baskets outside the gym.

Those interested in decorating a trunk and handing out candy can contact Rachel Sease by emailing her at rsease@fumc-waynesville.com.
