Youth for Sarge's kickoff 2019

KIDS LOVE ANIMALS — Children are invited to attend the Youth for Sarge’s kickoff from July 13, at the Haywood County Animal Shelter, to make enrichment toys for the animals and hear about safe volunteer work with Sarge’s and the animal shelter.

Just in time for summer, Sarge’s Animal Rescue Foundation is kick-starting the Youth for Sarge’s program from 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., Saturday, July 13, at the Haywood County Animal Shelter, 453 Jones Cove Rd., Clyde.

The kickoff is designed just for kids, and will help them find their way into safe volunteer work with Sarge’s and the Haywood County Animal Shelter. Open to kids of all ages, this event will provide hands-on opportunities to make enrichment toys for the animals, and to meet our hard working volunteers who will be guiding them through the process.

This is a free event.
