WAYNESVILLE — Art, dancing, music and food vendors will take over downtown Waynesville for the 38th annual Church Street Art and Craft Show on Saturday, Oct. 9 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Billed as one of the finest juried art shows in the region, the Church Street Art and Craft Show brings more than 100 vendors and nearly 20,000 visitors to enjoy Main Street in downtown Waynesville.
Vendors from across the Southeast will showcase their unique offerings, including: pottery, jewelry, woodworking, paintings, fibers arts and textiles, candles, quilts, photography and more. Artwork will be available for purchase, and a variety of demonstrations will be held throughout the day.
A musical backdrop will be provided by local country, folk, bluegrass and Scottish bagpipe musicians, while cloggers dance along to the music. There are two festival stages, and Whitewater Bluegrass Company will headline the event.
Festival-goers will have their pick of eats, from restaurants open along Main Street to numerous festival food trucks and vendors.
This event is free.
