BRYSON CITY — Take a trip out to Darnell Farms for the annual Gospel Jam on Saturday, June 12, and load up on the bumper crop of mountain-grown strawberries while you're at it.

There will be vendors and musicians galore, including Frankie Wilson, Doug Corum, and Chris Holder and Journey Home. The Gospel Jam is put on by Swain County Christian Radio.
Strawberries are still coming in strong, but the end of the season will soon be drawing to a close, so stock up on the sweet goodness while you can.

The farm store will be selling its famous Dream Whips — a frozen concoction that’s a drawing card far and wide.

The picturesque family farm on the banks of Tuckaseigee River is an agirtourism destination in its own right, with an onsite produce stand open seven days a week. The public is invited to enjoy the farm and riverside picnic tables during their visit.
