MAGGIE VALLEY — Toast to the cuddly cats and kittens of FUR, a feline rescue non-profit in Haywood County, at Elevated Mountain Distillery on Saturday, Oct. 9.
Moonshine & Felines features dinner courtesy of Wolf Street Bistro and live music by the Ryan Perry band. There will also be a silent auction and raffles for unique, locally-sourced items.
“This event is the perfect way to do something good for the community and have fun while doing it,” said event co-chair Wanda Davis. “And with the silent auction and raffles, it’s also a great way to get a head start on holiday shopping.”
Tickets are $30. Sponsorships are available for $125 and include two entry fees, two meals, two tickets to the Ryan Perry concert, plus recognition at the event.
“A sponsorship is a great way for local businesses and entrepreneurs to show they support causes in the community,” said Lisa Sanborn, event co-chair and FUR board president. “Plus it builds name recognition and they get to come and enjoy the event as well.”
FUR’s annual meeting will start the event at 4:30 p.m., with festivities to follow. Live music begins at 8 p.m. Elevated Mountain Distillery is located at 3732 Soco Road in Maggie Valley.
Tickets are available at the door or at furofwnc.org.
