WAYNESVILLE – Engines will be revving this weekend at the Smoky Mountain Events Center, with dozens of antique tractors and semi trucks on display May 7-8.

The Ole Smokey Antique Tractor Show and Semi Crazy Truck Show will be sharing the fairgrounds for their respective shows, giving spectators a two-for-one. Even better, admission is free.

This year marks the 25th anniversary of the Ole Smokey Antique Tractor Show. There will be food trucks on site, tractor train rides for the kids, wagon rides, live music and lots of tractors, engines, farm equipment and semi trucks to peruse.

“There will be plenty for people to see and look at for hours,” said Darren Wade, president of the Ole Smoky Antique Tractor & Engine Association.

The semi trucks will have a light show at dusk on Friday.

There is no charge for admission but donations are appreciated.

The two-day event will run from 8 a.m.-9 p.m. Friday, May 7, and 8 a.m.-3 p.m., Saturday, May 8. Located at 758 Crabtree Rd., Waynesville.
