DILLSBORO — The quaint village of Dillsboro will be transformed into an outdoor art market place during the annual Front Street Arts & Crafts Show from 10 a.m.-4 p.m Saturday, July 17.
Browse handmade arts and crafts from over 40 alongside a festive street fair with live music throughout the day and food trucks.
Vendors will be selling soaps, baskets, pottery, jewelry, bird houses, paintings and art of all kinds. All artisans have a story, and as you stroll along Front Street’s vendors and merchants, ask them to share their passion with you.
The entertainment line-up for the day includes:
• 11 a.m.: J. Creek Cloggers, a high-energy dance team based out of Haywood County, will dance on the street. This group of dancers are keeping alive the old mountain tradition of clogging, audience participation square dances, and broom dances.
• noon: Anna Victoria is a country singer and songwriter from Sylva. She plays a range of music from Dolly Parton and Loretta Lynn to Miranda Lambert and Chris Stapleton. She has been making music her whole life, but has pursued a career in music in the past year locally.
• 1 p.m.: Twelfth Fret is a husband and wife acoustic duo with Craig Neidlinger on guitar and Kim Neidlinger on upright bass. Twelfth Fret performs originals as well as pop and classic rock.
• 2 p.m.: Anna Victoria will take the stage once again.
Parking for the festival will be at Monteith Park with a shuttle to-and-from the festival itself. For more information, click here.
