ASHEVILLE — Come together in peace and harmony during the Asheville Juneteenth Celebration from noon-8 p.m. Saturday, June 19, at Martin Luther King Jr. Park in Asheville.

The event will pay honor to the nation’s enslaved ancestors, including a reading of the names of departed local hero’s with a balloon release on their behalf.

There will be food trucks, pop-up vendors, bouncy houses, live performances, wrestling matches, and more.
