ASHEVILLE — It’s New Belgium Brewing’s 30th anniversary, and the iconic brewer has brewed up a special release beers to commemorate the journey and milestone.

New Belgium let brewmaster Christian Holbrook have the keys to the New Belgium kingdom and asked him to make a wild craft beer.

Folks, he did not disappoint. New Belgium’s 30th Anniversary Wild Ale is now available at the Asheville location and can be shipped to select states.

Plus, visitors can enjoy historical New Belgium pieces on display and view a lineup of NBB’s famous cruisers from the past 30 years.

“We can hardly believe it's been 30 years of beers, bikes, slides, and all-around good times,” said Michael Craft, New Belgium Brewing Asheville community ambassador. “Looking back on the fateful 1988 bike trip through Belgium that inspired Kim and Jeff to brew the first batch of New Belgium beers in their basement, we're relishing in the chance to remember our humble beginnings, while cherishing that same spirit moving forward.”

New Belgium Brewing is at 21Craven St., in Asheville’s River Arts District. Visit
