Ginger's Revenge Fall Harvest ginger beer 9-21

Ginger’s Revenge, Asheville’s first and only brewery focused on the production of alcoholic ginger beer, will release its annual Fall Harvest ginger beer, a limited-edition beer made with organic pumpkin, cinnamon basil from Rayburn Farms in Barnardsville, and anise hyssop from Stellar Farm & Wine in Mars Hill.

This release typically generates a lot of excitement, so this year, Ginger’s Revenge will host an entire weekend celebrating the upcoming fall season with music, food, drawings and art.

The Fall Harvest release weekend also marks the kick-off of Ginger’s Revenge second annual Socktoberfest, with BeLoved Asheville. BeLoved dedicates its resources to Asheville’s unhoused and low-income community members in need. The kick-off for this event is Friday, Sept. 10, and Ginger’s Revenge will be accepting donations until the end of October.

“The goal of Socktoberfest is to contribute as many supplies as possible for our unhoused community bracing for a cold Appalachian winter,” said Cristina Ackley, Ginger’s Revenge co-owner. “Many of these items can be life-saving in freezing temperatures. In addition to supplies, we’re accepting monetary donations to help BeLoved Asheville build deeply affordable housing and continue amazing work in the area.”

Get Fall Harvest for a limited time in the Ginger’s Revenge tasting room, starting Friday, Sept. 10, as well as at select breweries, bars, and restaurants throughout North Carolina.

Ginger’s Revenge is a craft brewery and tasting room at 829 Riverside Dr., just north of downtown Asheville in the RAMP Studios.
