Cheese Fest!

Due to recent restrictions on public gatherings, as well as to protect the health and enjoyment of festival vendors and guests, the date for the 6th Annual Carolina Mountain Cheese Fest has been rescheduled. The event's original date of Sunday, April, 26 has been rescheduled for Sunday, October 18, 2020. Early entry tickets begin at 12 noon and general admission begins at 1 p.m. The festival ends at 4 p.m.

The Carolina Mountain Cheese Festival brings the energy of the WNC Cheese Trail to the grounds of Highland Brewing, located in Asheville, NC for one day only.

"The unique thing about the festival is how much local food is represented" says Katie Moore, executive director of the WNC Cheese Trail. “This festival is a great opportunity to gather in one place and support producers from throughout our region".

During the annual event, members of the WNC Cheese Trail celebrate their artisan products alongside cheesemakers and food businesses from around the Southeast. Guests can expect more than 20 producers at this year's event. The festival also offers workshops, demos, tastings, and acoustic entertainment in a family-friendly setting.

“We remain dedicated to our local farms and food producers in the face of unprecedented challenges” continues Moore, "rescheduling the festival allows us to keep moving forward and support these small businesses who are the heart of our communities."
