For well over a decade, Cody Jinks has devoted himself to making country music that’s equal parts uncompromising and empathic, often giving voice to those who exist on the margins of modern life.

Since first emerging as a solo artist in the mid-2000s, the Texas-bred singer/songwriter has steadily advanced from playing nearly-empty bar rooms to building a following so dedicated they’ve formed their own fan club—a self-governed group called the Flockers, comprised of 21,000+ members and counting.

Jinks is coming to Asheville for a performance on Friday, Nov. 8 at 8 p.m. Tickets are still available.

Cody Jinks arrives in top positions on the charts with his two new album releases last month. After The Fire, which came out October 11, debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Country Album Sales chart; a first-time top position on the chart for Jinks. The album also lands at No. 2 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums and takes the top spot for Billboard’s Americana/Folk Albums, a feat his previous album release 2018’s Lifers held.

After The Fire also gained Jinks entry onto Pollstar’s all-genre Elite 100 Artists chart which ranks artists weekly based on music sales and streaming. The album is noted for sales being Jinks’ strongest metric with 14,500 for the week, sales of 7,600 songs and more than 10 million on-demand streams.

The Wanting, which just dropped two weeks ago, comes in at No. 2 on iTunes Top Albums.

Select tickets are still available to see him at The U.S. Cellular Center. Prices start at $20 and can be purchased at https://www1.ticketmaster.com/event/2D005725BC7F6474.
