Come out to Isis Music Hall in Asheville on Sunday, Aug. 11 to experience prize-winning old time prowess on fiddle, banjo, guitar, and vocals performed by Oliver The Crow at 7:30 p.m.

The duo is observant, expressive, and fresh original songwriting — and reveres the music of old and forges the music of new.

Hoot and Holler is a duo of songwriters and instrumentalists dedicated to honing their craft. Guitarist Mark Kilianski and fiddler Amy Alvey are influenced by wordsmiths like Gillian Welch and Townes van Zandt, as well as authentic mountain musicians like Roscoe Holcomb and Ola Belle Reed. In 2016, they lived out of a camper van and toured across the country. Their enduring love of American folk music has based them in Asheville since spring 2017.

Tickets cost $15. Purchase tickets online at or call 828-575-2737.
