CHEROKEE — Spend the long weekend with the boys — rainbow, brook, golden, and brown — during the Cherokee Memorial Day Trout Tournament with $10,000 in cash winnings for the anglers who snag tagged trout.
The Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians operate their own trout hatchery, and will be generously stocking the freestone streams of Cherokee in the lead up to the tourney — including specially tagged trout that can be redeemed for cash winnings totalling $10,000.
