WAYNESVILLE — More than 100 local vendors of specialty, boutique and handmade items will be packing the Smoky Mountain Event Center from 9 a.m.- 3 p.m. Saturday, June 19.
The Summer Daze Market is bringing out Haywood County’s best crafters and curators of special finds you never knew you couldn’t live without: one-of-a-kind clothing, art, handmade wallets and bags, jewelry and fashion, home decor and so much more.
Some of Haywood County’s best cottage-industry bakeries and specialty food purveyors will be selling as well. Two food trucks — Hit the Pit BBQ and Soul Dawgs — will be onsite.
The event is organized by Soul Sisters Markets, a Haywood County organization that aims to help promote small businesses and help them expand their customer bases, the Summer Daze Market is the sixth market organized this year.
DJ entertainment will be provided by Rock Bottom Entertainment for a fun shopping experience. And, in keeping with the fairgrounds setting, there will be cotton candy, candy apples and funnel cakes.
