CHEROKEE — Gourd artists from across the country will descend on the annual Cherokee Gourd Artists’ Gathering held from July 29-31.

The gathering allows gourd artists to exchange ideas and collaborate on gourd art, with workshops on wood burning, carving, painting and sculpting, from beginner to advanced levels. The gourd gathering is free and open to the public, who can pursue the stunning displays and booths of gourd art.

Other activities include a silent auction, live auction, and raffles.

Held from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Thursday-Saturday at the Cherokee Indian Fairgrounds. For more information, click here.
