North River Farms is excited to announce the return of Mills River Day on Saturday, May 18 from 11 a.m.-5 p.m.
Mills River Day is a free event that will happen rain or shine. This will be a large family fun event that will showcase all of what Mills River has to offer, family fun run, agriculture, water quality demonstrations, live music, food vendors, craft vendors, farm animals, farm display, hay maze, u-pick strawberries and more.
Live Music Line-Up:
- 11 a.m.-12:50 p.m. — Lonesome Road
- 1 p.m. — Jerry Brittain (Mills River Historian)
- 1:15-2:50 p.m. — Levi Orr
- 2:55 p.m. — Keiran Roe (Conserving Carolina)
- 3-5 p.m. — Meghan Woods
- Mama Bears Food Truck
- Deli Volv
- Butter & Blooms
- Poppy’s Handcrafted Popcorn
- Ken Cole’s Homemade Ice Cream
Mills River Day Family Mile
Thanks to Run828, there will be a kids and adults 1-mile race around the farm. The kids race will start at 1 p.m. and the adults will start right after.
There will be a finishers award for each child participate and refreshments available post run. Registration for this event will be held the day of. Entry is free.
