Register now for the Turkey Trot in Biltmore Park

The 2nd Annual Biltmore Park Turkey Trot returns to South Asheville on Thanksgiving Day, starting at 9 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 28.

Proceeds from the race will benefit Sheep Dog Impact Assistance of WNC.

Come join us for this fun and festive 5K that winds through beautiful Biltmore Park Town Square and the surrounding neighborhood in South Asheville.

Thanksgiving is the largest running holiday with families all over the country! Turkey Trots are a great way to start the day. Join us at Biltmore Park Town Square and enjoy some fresh air and exercise before gathering around the table for your Thanksgiving feast! You’ll share miles and smiles with your family and friends as part of this fun, annual tradition.

The Biltmore Park Turkey Trot course is a USATF certified 5K. The route will begin and end in Biltmore Park Town Square in South Asheville and run through the surrounding neighborhood.

Registration is $30 per person and is now open online at https://idaph.net/turkey-trot-at-biltmore-park/.

All pre-registered participants will receive a long sleeve T-shirt, finisher medal upon completion, swag from race vendor partners and post-race refreshments.

{span}Pre-event packet pickup is{/span} Wednesday, Nov. 27. {span}Race Day Packet Pick- Up and on-site Registration is{/span} Thursday, November 28 from 7:30 a.m.- 8:45 a.m. The ace starts promptly at 9am in Biltmore Park Town Square. The {span}Awards Ceremony will be held at{/span} 10:15 a.m.

Following the race at 10 a.m., awards and raffles will be announced. First-place winners overall in the men’s and women’s categories will each receive a 10-pound smoked turkey courtesy of Luella’s BBQ.
