Visit with Alpacas at Sugg Plantation

Every Sunday, at 3 p.m. Sugg Plantation & Alpaca Farm opens its doors for the public to enjoy an up-close, hands-on farm experience with their alpacas.

Visiting is a perfect opportunity for children to learn what farm life is all about.

The farm is open to the public certain days of the year and space is limited. Reserve your ticket in advance on the website.

Patrons who are unable to purchase tickets online should make a reservation and purchase your tickets at the farm the day of the event.

Admission is $10 and the visit lasts one hour. The visit includes a short lesson on alpacas, then everyone will get a chance to feed the animals, ask questions and take photos.

Sugg Plantation & Alpaca Farm is located at 377 Germany Cove Road in Waynesville.

Be sure to wear covered-toed shoes and clothing appropriate for weather conditions and an active farm site. Also, bringing bug spray is encouraged.
